Sorry, so sorry

Readers, I am so very sorry for my prolonged absence. I am going to employ bullets in order to update you, and also convey through formatting the necessarily utilitarian quality of this post, as a result of bullet point #1:
  • My laptop is broken, again. Damn you Apple! If I wasn't so white I'd have to defect to a PC. So I don't have internet access and Justin and I have to split time with his laptop. Which is not that great, let me tell you. Sharing a bedroom and a bathroom is quite enough, thank you. Needless to say my time spent fucking around on the Internet (aka writing posts for this blog) has decreased dramatically.
  • I saw Judith Butler and Rosi Braidotti go head to head on Thurs. My thoughts on this are far too complex and insightful to describe here -- not appropriate for the genre (would be far too much text on the page). I didn't officially meet Judy but she and I did block each other at a doorway: "Excuse me" "Pardon me". YES!
  • Frankly, one of the reasons I haven't been as on the ball with this blog is because I am so entranced with the new blog, My So Called TV Life. And this is not narcissism (Colleen); my contributors are just too brilliant and hilarious. So you can blame them for my neglect of this blog.
  • My social life has really picked up lately. Not appropriate to discuss on this public site, if you know what I'm saying. And I think you do. You know, the Netherlands? Illegal stuff?
All right, that's it for now. So much has happened this week! Too much -- Hillary and Obama, Patrick Swayze's cancer, blizzards in the Midwest, The Wire finale... More later. I swear.

P.S. Last week I sent an email to the author of Stuff White People Like and suggested a number of items s/he might write on, including one of the things mentioned in this post. Ahem. I think I'm now famous -- another blogger used my idea and didn't credit me! Yes.
