My First Blog Post

Two important events happened in the past few days: first, I was assigned housing in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Thank God. Second, for those of you who know about the iPod incident I had over the holidays, yes, laundering your Shuffle IS covered by the one-year warranty and I now have a new, unbloated iPod.

My housing has been arranged by Short Stay Solutions, a company that works with the universities in Utrecht to arrange housing for visiting international students. Housing is very difficult to get in Utrecht, apparently, as is evident by its cost. Here's the link to Short Stay Solutions:
